OH MY GOD!!! Criminal Minds I love you and hate you all at the same time. Tonight was the 100th episode and I won't go into detail because know my flist has fans and I don't want to spoil anyone and I'm to lazy to do an lj cut, but it was perfect, and heartbreaking. I cried like a baby, but I couldn't help it. I couldn't have imagined anything better.

Side note I really want to try Joel Robuchon (chef of the century) recipe for pomme puree(mashed potatoes, practicing my french term for school) but I figured thanks giving probably isn't the best time to be experimenting. Plus with all the rich people will be eating I really don't think this particular recipe would be a good idea. It two to one potatoes to butter. It's so rich you can order them as an entree in his restaurants.

I watched SNL last night because Taylor Swift was on it. SHe did a really good job and I think it surprised a lot people. Here are some of my favorite clips:

Also it appears Numb3rs may be ending and I'm extremely pissed. Especially since it seem that next week they will be turning one of my favorite characters into a bad guy.

So I found Matthew Gray Gubler's twitter today, so I'm super excited. And while going through his tweets I  discovered that MGG went to film school with VickyT. I totally freaked when I saw that. This calls for some serious fic. Either Cobra with Criminal Minds or Matt hanging at a Cobra show. Please note that a bandom CM x-over is possible, I've read one before.

Dear Criminal MInds,

How have you managed to worm your way into my life and take over. Honestly, it's like you knew I wouldn't be able to resist once I discovered the beautiful, tall, slightly to skinny and brilliant Dr. Spencer Reid or the man who plays him. And then you just had to hook me in further with pairing like Morgan/Reid and Hotch/Reid. It was like you knew I couldn't say no to geek boys and they're FBI boyfriends, see Numb3rs fandom.

Not only that you dangle a character like Penelope Garcia in front of my face and knew that couldn't say no. With the banter and sarcasm and the perfect one liners. She's brilliant, funny, quirky, and can totally help me with all my computer problems. She's the kind of girl I want to be my best friend.

So thank you for taking over my life.

This is a video from the TAI... show at Chain Reaction, filmed by Jack the Camera Guy, of course. It was awesome, I had a lot fun. Is it wrong that I spent a lot of time looking at Jack during the show? I never told you guys before but I'm a total fangirl of Jack and my crush on him is kind of epic.

Also the show was the first time I heard the band This Providence, I'm now a big fan. Evan Taubenfeld was pretty good.

SO that trip to Missouri in January was to help me figure stuff out. Decide what I wanted to do with my life and really just get me out of the funk I was in. It worked. I didn't end up moving out there but I decided what I wanted to do with myself.

I've started culinary school at the Art Institute here in Santa Ana. It's a mid-quarter start so I only have lecture classes right now, but I wore my chef's uniform for the first time yesterday, it felt really good. I'm in the baking and pastry program, so who knows maybe you guys will be ordering fancy cakes from me some time soon.

In other news, I'm going to the Academy Is... acoustic show tomorrow. I'm so excited, although I wish it was later date with the Empires. Hopefully I can find my brothers camera.

I was on youtube looking at Taylor Swift videos and I found this and I couldn't resist posting it. It's an interview from her trip to Australia with Hamish and Andy. She totally adorable and I learned a new Australian term, Swifty.
